Greenwillows Associates offers a responsive and flexible multi-disciplinary ecological consultancy service complemented by practical habitat management expertise to provide an integrated package of ecological solutions from initial Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Protected Species Surveys, Biodiversity Surveys and Environmental Impact Assessments through to preparation of habitat management plans, implementation of mitigation measures, and habitat creation.

Our Checklist of Services which complies with national best practice standards set out by Natural England includes:
- Desk study and data searches for historical biological records pertinent to the target site
- Site assessment surveys to establish presence/absence of badgers and assess potential impact of the proposed scheme on badgers
- Where necessary follow up detailed surveys to map signs of badger activity sett locations and territory mapping
- Prepare reports in support of planning applications
- Design and implementation of mitigation measures to minimise impact on badgers during construction to include creation of new setts
- Prepare licence applications and obtain licences to permit disturbance and/or sett closures
- Provision, installation and monitoring of badger gates
- Supervise licensed closure of existing setts
- Population monitoring to discharge planning and/or licensing conditions
